Inflamed bowels, allergies from certain kinds of foods, parasites, kidney disease or hyperthyroidism may cause diarrhoea in cats. Help manage your pet’s discomfort by making sure they have enough clean drinking water and a suitable diet as diarrhoea may lead to tiredness, sudden loss of weight, dehydration, or throwing up. We recommend that you talk to your vet to rule out underlying problems.
NHV Plantaeris’ dosage is safely doubled if your cat is fighting acute diarrhoea. and may be brought back down to the normal dosage after the situation improves. Adding some cooked, boiled pumpkin to your cat’s diet may also assist in bulking up soft stools.
