0-15 lb = ¼ tsp
15-30 lb = ½ tsp
30-60 lb = 1 tsp
60-90 lb = 1 ½ tsp
Smaller pets such as birds, mice, hamsters, ferrets, iguanas – 1 drop for every 2 lbs of body weight, twice a day (8-12 hours apart).
For weaned rabbits of all sizes, NHV recommends 0.5mL two times per day (8-12 hours apart).
Just spray the tonics lightly from the back of your pet’s ears to its tail (Coco Furcare, Target Spray) or directly to the infected area 2-3 times per day (NHV First Aid & NHV Ouch Away). Be cautious to avoid the eye area. Repeat if necessary.
Make sure your pet paw pads (NHV Heal Care) and skin (NHV All Clear) are clean and dry. Liberally apply to the affected area 3 to 4 times per day until completely healed.
Pro Tip: Wrap the affected area with gauze dressing or a bootie to prevent your pet from licking the balm.
NHV recommend adding the liquid formulations into their food as it’s the easiest way to ensure that your pet has some food in their stomach when taking our supplements to avoid any possible tummy discomfort. You can also administer the liquid directly into their mouths, after they have had their meals.
Pro Tip: Hide the supplements with a tasty treat such as chicken broth, pumpkin puree, yoghurt, boiled fish, or chicken.
NHV recommend you start with a lower dose and slowly increase it to the needed dosage. Alternatively, you may gradually increase the dose over the course of a week, taking into consideration your pet’s adaptability to the supplements.
To help you and your pet maintain a routine and to allow their body to get used to the supplements, it helps to be consistent with the daily timing for their two doses. Do remember to wait for 8-12 hours between doses.

Yes! The all-natural formulation has been designed to work with vet-prescribed medication. NHV do recommend administering the supplements 30 mins – 2 hours before other supplements or medications to avoid any interference.
Except for NHV Mellit – if your pet is NOT taking insulin, you may give this supplement 15-20 minutes before mealtime to help regulate the blood sugar before food.
Each pet responds to natural dietary aids differently hence it is important to be consistent in giving the product as indicated. Generally, the efficacy may be experienced up to 2-4 weeks varying from every pet. These natural herbs are beneficial to the well-being of your pet and are safe to be used for long-term.
Yes! If your pet is taking multiple NHV supplements, you may add all of it to your pet’s food or be given one by one directly into your pet’s mouth.
Pro Tip: You may combine all the supplements together using a syringe. Pour out the required dosages into a small bowl. Suck the mixture into a plastic syringe and administer it into their mouth directly, after their meals.
Sealed NHV supplements can last up to 6 years. Once opened, it requires refrigeration and will keep for 6 months in the fridge.
