If you notice that your dog is showing signs of straining and their stool is hard, or dry, they have lethargy, have low appetite, hunched posture or are vomiting for more than two days, we recommend that you take your dog to the veterinarian to check on the possible causes of this discomfort. Through physical checks, your veterinarian will be able to determine the consistency of the stools and get an idea of how advanced the constipation issue is.
