Ouch Away for Dogs
Dermatitis, Mange and Yeast Infection Spray for Dogs
Introduction:
NHV Ouch Away is a topical spray designed to help calm skin allergies and encourage fur regrowth. Shield your dog’s skin naturally as food sensitivities, allergens in the environment, and insect bites can cause your pet to lick or bite agitated skin, causing the formation of ‘hot spots’.
- Helpful support for hot spots or dermatitis caused by parasites, mange, food allergies, and environmental allergens.
- Help improve healthy immune response
- Help encourage fur regrowth and help calm the skin
- Safe if your dog licks, non-toxic formula
Natural Support for Dermatitis, Mange and Skin Infections
Your dog’s skin is the first line of defence between its body and the environment; hence it may be prone to ‘hot spots’ or ‘moist dermatitis’. This can happen when your dog grooms itself too much due to itchiness and the irritated area of its skin becomes raw. By repeatedly pawing or licking the area, your pet unknowingly introduces bacteria to the skin that may cause the spread of bacteria. The infected area may become inflamed and infected and can cause discomfort. Secretion of excessive oils can also contribute to unpleasant odours.
How NHV Dog Skin Infection Spray Relieves Irritated Skin
Because your dog’s skin is their largest organ, it may be susceptible to issues that include dermatitis, mange, and various infections.
Grasses, pollens, dust mites, or mold spores may be the reason for hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to what may seem like harmless environmental substances. Some dog breeds are more susceptible to itchy skin such as Chinese Shar-Peis, Wire Fox Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Dalmatians, Boxers, Boston Terriers, Labrador Retrievers, Lhasa Apsos, Scottish Terriers, Shih Tzus, and West Highland White Terriers. The most affected areas of allergies are the face, paws, ears, front legs, and under the belly. Scratching all over the body may also occur. NHV Ouch Away helps fight skin infections, with herbs like Chamomile, Aloe Vera and Marigold that may cool and calm the skin, may soothe burns, and encourage healing of irritated skin.
Symptoms of dermatitis in dogs include:
- General itchiness
- Red or excessively oily skin
- May have unpleasant discharge or odour
- Flaky, scaly, crusted skin
- ‘Elephant skin’ or thickened skin
- Hyperpigmentation
- Recurring infections of the ear
Mange is caused by mites, and this may lead to sores, inflamed skin, irritations, and redness.. Sarcoptic mange and scabies are contagious and may be transmissible to humans, however black mange is not transmissible as it is a genetic condition. If left unattended, bacterial and yeast infections may occur causing sores on the skin and may develop an uncomfortable and unpleasant skin odour. A combined blend of herbs such as Rosemary, Lemongrass oil and Tea Tree oil, are highly effective in managing external parasites, fighting skin infections, and supporting fur regrowth.
